VisionF Yachts has dropped a serious head-turner: the VisionF 101, a 30.7-metre aluminium power catamaran that’s now the largest in its lineup and the first of its size to meet RINA Commercial Class standards. Think less “boat for the weekend” and more “floating modern villa that just happens to travel.”
Aluminium doing the heavy lifting (quietly)
VisionF made its debut only in 2020 with the VisionF 80, but the brand has already carved out a niche for sleek, glass-rich multihulls. The 101 sticks to that playbook and upgrades it: long, sharp lines, huge glass surfaces and an aluminium base that keeps things strong, light and future-proof. The shipyard itself calls it “a colossal marvel in the world of catamarans,” and for once, the marketing doesn’t sound exaggerated.

Built for Mediterranean daydreams
This cat is clearly tuned for Mediterranean cruising. With a shallow 1.45-metre draft, it can slip into tucked-away coves where deeper-keeled yachts just wave sadly from offshore. Routes like Capri to Porto Cervo or Messina to Corfu in a single day? On the VisionF 101, that’s the default plan, not the brag.
Up top, the 132 m² flybridge is the social engine room: Jacuzzi, sun loungers, bar, cosy sofa seating under a partially covered hardtop. Basically, it’s your rooftop terrace, except it moves to a new view whenever you feel like it.
A floating mansion with attitude
Inside, four staterooms, including an owner’s suite that takes up nearly half of the starboard hull, dial up the “boutique hotel on water” vibe. Soft browns, whites and greys, subtle lighting and wide balconies make it feel more like a waterfront apartment than a yacht.
Four Volvo Penta engines push the VisionF 101 to around 17 knots while maintaining sharp manoeuvrability both offshore and near the marina. Or, as the yard puts it, a “floating mansion”, just one that refuses to stay in the same postcode for long.
